Enjoy a few days in the Appalachians of Quebec. Nestled in the Beauce Region that borders the Frontenac and Mt. Megantic National Parks and facing the majestic Appalachian Mountain chain, the country inn at Courcelles welcomes both young and old, whether experienced or novice riders, and their non-equestrian companions. The warm, family-oriented atmosphere is perfect for an exhilarating equestrian sojourn. A string of well managed horses are at your disposal for daily rides into the beautiful countryside with its maple forests in the Canadian Appalachians. Ride across the farmlands and wide open spaces, then visit a Maple Syrup farm on your way up high into the Appalachian Mountains with its breathtaking vistas. In the area you have plenty of activities to choose from - nature walks, canoeing, golf and biking. Swedish massages are available upon request.

Spring Trips: Mid May to mid June Come and breath in the fresh air, take in the green fields and wild flowers, relax. Visit some old farms or the Flour museum, and patrimonial villages. Climb the mountain, visit a family ranch. Enjoy Flowering fields permitting you to trot, gallop, and canter. To end your day enjoy a good meal.
Summer Trips: Mid June to mid September Come and visit a fabulous site of natural and very well protected zone of quality of life.Cross the dairy farm land. The views are different everyay. We take you to visit a Buffalo farm. Taste this great meat, and admiring their beautiful morphology on a green pasture. Approach the 20 mile long St- Francois and relax on its shores. Visit the Appalachian mountain, the little campsite, with a small sandy beach. Bring your bathing suite - it's pure contemplation. Cross some long Maple forests, and rejoin an isolate village, with calm and peaceful energy. At the end of the day taste gourmet meals at the inn.
Indian Summer: Mid September to late October Colorful red and orange flashy forest, of the generous and abundant harvest period. This season is one of the most impressive time to ride horses in the Quebec countryside. Fresh air, sensual warn rays of sun. Cross the river with your horse, pass over the hilly geography, and take some picnic on the nature with your friendly horse. Everyday will be new trails, and new panorama. Trot and gallop on an old curvy road, and feel the good movement of long canter. Discover the charm of the French people, there way of leaving and there sumptuous natural environment.

The average temperatures in April are 45 F (8 C) during the day, and 25 F (-1 C) at night. During the summer months the daytime temperatures are generally in the upper 70s during the day (25 C), cooling down to the mid 50s (13 C) at night. In October the average daytime temperature is 52 F (11 C), dropping to 36F (2 C) at night. Our season commences in June with the debut of tender soft greens of spring, which turn into a glorious abundance of wildflowers, and it extends throughout the warm vibrant days of summer, and comes to spectacular finale mid October, when the hardwood forests are ablaze with colour, competing easily with other areas in the world, known for their beautiful fall foliage. The average fall foliage season is mid September through mid-October.
